Protrac ID manufacture RFID wrist tags and ID tags that can be worn on the belt or shirt or as a hang tag. ID Tags accept standard photo ID labels and may have multiple functions such as qualified entry to sensitive areas or a built-in duress alarm.

Examples:

  • RFID personnel tags provide access control for any premises. ID Tags accept standard photo ID labels and options include built in duress alarm button, high security “man down” alarm and may have multiple functions such as integrated smart card “chip” for high security entry to sensitive areas. The one credential is used for all functions.
  • RFID wrist or belt tags monitor personnel working in potentially high risk areas, such as underground mining or tunnelling, raw materials processing, etc.
  • Multi-purpose tracking tags can incorporate photo ID and a duress call and can be programmed to override restrictions on other tags. For example, the Nursetrac ID tag for aged care and mental health applications doubles as an ID tag and duress call and overrides patient tags if a patient leaves a restricted area in the company of a nurse (known as parent and child tagging).

  • RFID person tracking or monitoring can track an individual wearing a tag through a physical environment in real time and show these movements via a graphic interface. Applications include guards in prisons, monitoring of aged care patients , tracking of visitors through high security environments, tracking of sub-contractors on building sites, etc.
